The TSCA is happy to bring online the very first Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles femslash fanfiction focused contest! Our first contest is programmed with a Christmas theme, which has been beautifully inspired by the talented artist Anklebones. All entries must have a Christmas theme and be based off of Anklebone's artwork. The entry must use the artwork as a focal point or be a scene within the story. Below is the prudent data to the contest that all contestants should review to make sure they fall within the parameters for the contest. All entries are due in by December 18, 2009 to the TSCA inbox. Please see further below for more details. Voting will be done by the readers and commence on December 20th or December 21st depending on TSCA's speed. Following the voting, the TSCA will announce winners and prizes of the contest. Again, the winner will be taking home a DVD season from the television show and there will be runner-up prizes too. Please contact TSCA with any questions or concerns. Entry Framework Snapshot Universe: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Theme: Christmas Inspiration: Artwork by Anklebones Material: Any Genre: Any Pairing: Any TSCC Femslash Wordcount Minimum: 7,000 (Short Story) Deadline: December 18, 2009 11:59PM (EST) Entry Specific Parameters Parameter 001 The fanfiction must be femslash i.e. contain a romantic relationship between two female characters. It may contain adult content if the writer so chooses. Parameter 010 The fanfiction may be of any material (canon, crossover, alternate universe, uber, etc) but must contain one TSCC female character such as Sarah, Cameron, or Jesse who may be in uber form. Also, original characters as the main character is certainly allowed. Parameter 100 Only one entry per writer. Parameter 011 The fanfiction must focus on a Christmas theme and Anklebone's artwork. Parameter 101 Writers cannot post or share their entry to readers or other writers. Nor can it be publicly posted until the end of the contest. To do otherwise will automatically disqualify their entry. Any currently completed, public Christmas stories do not qualify for entry. Parameter 111 Writers may use one beta-reader, who must follow Parameter 101 too. However, a beta-reader is not required but is certainly encouraged to help a writer's entry. Parameter 000 All entries will be posted anonymously for voting but writers will be named after voting ends. Parameter 110 The entry must be a minimum of 7,000 words, which cannot include such things as disclaimer, notices, title, chapter's, etc. Parameter 4Kennedy The amazing story, Under the Mistletoe written by 4Kenendy is a Christmas themed work in progress as of date. Its start date is recorded as December 7, 2008 from the Christmas Wishlist at Passion & Perfection. Due to 4Kennedy's beautiful Christmas novel being in progress, the TSCA has programmed a unique parameter for her fanfiction. The contest's unique parameter challenges 4Kennedy to complete Under the Mistletoe by the end of the 2009. If completed by December 31, 2009 then Anklebones has promised a signed copy of her cover art for 4Kennedy. So we hope you get to typing, 4Kennedy because your readers crave it! Submission Steps Contestants, please submit your final entry to the TSCA on time. As the deadline approaches, and you feel you're very close but need another day then please let TSCA know ahead of time. Any entries given after the deadline, without special permission, will not be added so don't be shy to contact us! Finally, follow the below guidelines for your submission or we'll kick it back to you until it's correct.
